The Dunford Brother's are VERY Kenyan

"didn’t wanna make this about race, but Kenya is a black nation, so I will.
I heard of all the 40+ black Kenyan athletes participating in the Olympics… they had one of the two white guys (the swimmers) holding our flag for the ceremony.

Incidentally, that white boy is extremely privileged. His family own Tamarind group - who own popular joints like Carnivore etc. Putting him at the front line is typical Kenyan behavior. Always paying homage to the white man - who frankly doesn’t deserve it. Nor will he ever.
i know that my point comes from a privileged place after having experienced the other side of the fence (u.s) but that wealth, all of which they will stay enjoying and flaunt in our faces while we remain peasants and the very same kenyans stay treating them like royalty. people stay defending his ass like no he isn’t your “homie” just because he was born and raised in kenya and can speak swa. but apparently kenyans are very inclusive & racism doesn’t exist."

Someone on Tumblr posted that and I was like 'Woah, hold up. You don't even know their names and your all up in here hating". First of all she said the Dunfords didn't deserve to be on the front line of the Kenyan Olympic Team, where have you been? Oh yeah in U.S, the ignorant country. They have broken records, brought back GOLD medals from  Commonwealth Games, Universiade, All-Africa Games and African Championships, and reached finals at Olympics, World Championships and Short Course World Championships. If that's not deserving it, then I truly don't know what is.

Just Because their white, doesn't mean their not Kenyan. You can be both. It's like saying all the Black people in England are not English because their black.
And saying they get treated differently because their white is quite racist (black on white racism). If a black was holding the Kenyan flag no one would care but because a white guy is holding it up  he's being treated special? Maybe he had it because of all the GOLD medals he brings home, to KENYA.
You may think your defending blacks but doing so by putting whites down is quite pointless as your no better than all the other racist mother******s.

I personally have watched these two swim, I've met them and in my opinion they do not take what they have achieved for granted and just because they were privileged enough to have a rich and powerful background doesn't prove anything, that was awful 'research' on your part tumblogger.

That comment really got to me and I can only imagine how Jason and David feel when they see little ignorant, pessimistic teenager claim they don't deserved what they've worked so hard, their whole life for!

There is racism in Kenya and in some area's white people are treated differently from black people and they get better treatment but this was a TERRIBLE example and people need to know what their talking about before they go and try to destroy someones reputation. I mean really!?
BE SURE!
